DAY TWO
Day two of the conference began also with a mini praise and worship after the disciples had taken their breakfast.
Pastor Samuel then took over the morning session, welcoming the disciples for the second day of the conference and went ahead to remind the disciples of what they had learned the previous day which was journaling. He then invited Pastor David, who took over the mid-morning session and started by asking the disciples if they had journaled. One by one, the disciples started giving their journal entries for the day. He also read John chapter 21 and encouraged the disciples to be the light of the world by taking time off to read the bible and journal and pray. He also shared his story of how he left his luxurious church and for 6 years was living in a trailer on someone’s Ranch and in the process God provided, and he was able to restore a home that was given to him by the ranch owner that needed 40,000 USD.
Pastor Samuel then took over again and introduced the lesson of the day, which was fellowship. He asked the students to go to their different classes for the lessons together with their teachers. The disciples then went to their classes, red, blue, green and yellow.
At 1pm, the disciples had finished having their classes and went on to have their lunch. A variety of food and drinks were served at lunchtime. After lunch, at 2pm, the disciples gathered back into the church and were led by Pastor Samuel to do a recap on what they had learned. The disciples had learned about sharing the gospel using my story and the 3 circles. Pastor Samuel then started the session by sharing his story in 90 seconds on how he was before he met Christ, how he met Christ and became born again and how his life is right now in 90 seconds. He then invited other disciples to do the same.
The disciples were then tasked to go out and share the gospel using my story and the 3 circles, and were given a sticker with the 3 circles to help them share the gospel. The groups were divided in numbers 1 to 10 with Pastor David in group 3, Pastor Bob in group 5 and Pastor Samuel in group 8, Pastor Nelson in group 10 and the rest of the groups led by disciples who knew the areas in the community and would be able to do follow up and then in their groups the disciples went out to spread the gospel. By 6pm, the disciples were back with reports. Due to time, the disciples were to do a recap the next day of how their experience was.
