The Mission To Buyengo, Jinja.

The Journey

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, who enabled us to go and minister his grace to the brothers in Buyengo Jinja District. We started off well at around 7am in the morning and as we approached Mukono Town, the vehicle we were using developed some mechanical problem which ended up in replacing the brake pads since they seemed bent somehow.

It took us almost 2 to 3 hours in Mukono before we could resume our journey. After the repair, we resumed our journey and arrived in Buyengo at around 2pm then started on the training.

THE MESSAGE

I started by discussing how a person reads their Bibles and also how they would progress in abiding in the vine and it seemed there was about one person who was reading his bible daily.

We also discussed why its important for us to read the bible daily  to develop our ability to hear God speak to us.

The disciples were 31 in number of whom 15 committed to journaling with us for the next 15 weeks using our 15 week program of discipleship. Since we did our first lesson.

Message from the home Pastor

There are always only 3 people on Wednesdays for devotion. We should be servants. Every person in this church has a role to play and you wont know if you are not involved in bible study. The day will come when we will be asked to give accountability for what we did on earth. Jesus is coming we should stop sleeping. When we leave the earth what will you tell Jesus? will you tell him that you were cooking for your husband? So we should all be in bible study on Wednesdays.

We have here people bible study on Wednesday but very few people turn up.

These things we speak of of God speaking to people and people hearing from God come from daily bible study. So lets do bible study and do evangelism every Wednesday. We thank you for coming but we need you to pray for Buyenge. The people need salvation.
