Kyanuuna Discipleship Training
Saturday 8th June 2024 started well by heading to Kyanuuna and meeting up with my fellow Servant in the vineyard of our Lord Jesus Christ.
On arrival at Amazing Grace Christian Assembly Kyanuuna, we are met by the Wife to the Pastor, Since the Pastor had told the members we would come to do evangelism, only 3 Women turned up to go for evangelism. I decided to give them an overview to DT’s 4 Habits that every Believer must have which are Listening to God through Prayer, Inquire from God through his word, Fellowship with each other on a weekly basis and then Express What the Lord has done for us and have others embrace it which is Evangelism (LIFE).
While I was still introducing the 4 Habits, the Pastor’s wife who was one of the 3, told us that they have been praying to God for this and she said “your Coming is an answer to our prayers” and as such we should go back and train. This time she will mobilize all the 5 Churches that are in a fellowship and have been praying for God to show them how to evangelize and disciple the people of Kyanuuna Kijuna to the saving power of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
We ended up teaching the team how to read the Bible using the Inquire and the SOAP method. And this lesson was so much welcomed by the members that they thought it would be best done with all other members present.
We read in Ephesians 4 and I saw how the new members expounded the book of Ephesians 4 and I was so impressed and the members pledged to keep doing this for the next 15 weeks as we continue to learn and build these habit and see people’s lives change to the glory of God.
